About Me

1-1-09 - New band - "The Super Dave 5" - Read Blog...
1-7-08 - Some cool news; "Drama Queen" has been selected to be on an upcoming compilation sponsored by Fox Sports' own "J.T. 'The Brick'" which spotlights bands he has chosen and featured as his favs on his nationally-syndicated talk show "The Drive"...
As for me ----- Singer, songwriter, sucky weightlifter, Burrito-aholic, expert driver, District Sales Manager, landlord, pontoon boat captain, perfectionist, prankster, envied irrigation system owner, remote control wizard, over-thinker, sometimes-cynical, noise sensitive, intuitition-driven, red wino, XM radio junkie, "Superman" launcher, texting pro, Dad, dental floss addict, underdog fan, sports nut & free speech advocate.
My hero and inspiration is my beautiful 4yr. old son, Seth, who is already a switch-hitter in baseball.
Partial to red wine, Blue Moon beer, unique clothing & jewelry, football (except when my teams don't cover the spread - What the?), sarcasm, great restaurants, rational thinkers, UNC Basketball, Lays Stax, snow skiing, The Jerky Boys, my true friends, Lucky Charms, great conversation, atypical & patriotic people, guns, truly ethical entrepreneurs, seeing the world and ANY Armed Services veteran. I happen to frown on superficial people, slow drivers, slack-ass Dads who don't spend time with their kids, arrogant cops, obnoxious idiots who call themselves UT football fans (there are some good fans too), scream Rock bands, 4-cylinders with oversized mufflers (which ought to be outlawed), American Idol, people who can't handle their alcohol, chicks who smoke to be cool, extremists of any kind & gum smackers.
MOVIES; Godfather series, Jackie Brown, Get Shorty, SuperTroopers, Crash, Braveheart, Hunt for Red October, True Romance, Ferris B., What About Bob, Things to do in Denver when you're Dead!, Napoleon D., Glory, Remember the Titans, Groundhog Day, Old School, The Insider, Friday, The Longest Day, The Great Escape, The Outlaw Josey Wales, As Good As It Gets, Shawshank & Anchorman; The Legend of RB!
TV: Entourage, Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Discovery, A & E, Travel, Military, ESPN & History Channel.
TRAVEL; Been to Maui, Oahu, all over Cali including Napa & San Diego (Where the background pic was taken by moi), Acapulco, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Winslow, Arizona (hope you get that) and Bucksnort, TN (OK maybe not). Wish to go to Prague, Austria, Belgium, Italy & Boston, MA. Nashville, NYC, Wilmington, NC and my lakehouse @ Lake Norman, NC are my fav places to just hang out...

Simpson & my son*** Weirdo thing I do; Stand in front of my fan after a shower*** 5 surprising things about me; 1) I got fired from performing at Orpryland Hotel because a patron overheard me telling my duet partner; "I ain't playin' no F'ing Skynyrd!"*** 2) I'm addicted to jersey sheets*** 3) I sell an average of $12MIL worth of steel bldgs. per year. But that number is declining! UGH!*** 4) I asked Ashley Judd out for wine one night. Didn't know she was engaged*** 5) I use women's restrooms when they're empty. (Equal rights!)***
