Waddup Family, This is Ty Block. Just a little something about a Brotha. Well I'm from the CHI. For those of you who don't know where that is , thats Chicago, Il. actually i'm from the west burbs of chi, a town called Maywood.
I'm not one for typin, so we're gonna make this short, VERY SHORT.
I have a group called LSD, we've been together 31 years and still faithful to ministry. I served as Minister of Music at the Christ Tabernacle Baptist of chicago ( REV MILTON BRUNSON) for 15 years, served as choir director for REV MILTON BRUNSONS" THOMPSON COMMUNIY SINGERS for 20 years, but was a member of the choir for 27 years. Currectly serving at the HERITAGE INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH as director of choir., and also back out on the road with the REUNION CHOIR of THE THOMPSON COMMUNITY SINGERS. Was a member of the JESSY DIXON SINGERS, background vocal for Min. KEITH PRINGLE, The Father of gospel music PROFESSOR THOMAS DORSEY, & SALLIE MARTIN. I have done background work for a number of artist live and as well as studio, MARVIN SAPP, DARRYL COLEY, THE LATE GREAT MINISTER THOMAS WHITFIELD, VANESSA BELL ARMSTRONG, YOLAND ADAMS, PASTOR SMOKIE NORFUL, PASTOR RANCE ALLEN, THE QUEEN OF GOSPEL: ALBERTINA WALKER, PASTOR SHIRLEY CEASER, KELLI WILLIAMS, BISHOP WALTER HAWKINS, KURT CARR, BEBE WINANS, TERRI CARROLL,BISHOP PAUL S. MORTON, DALON COLLINS,GARY OLIVER, STEVE SYLK HURLEY, FARLY JACKMASTER FUNK, ARETHA FRANKLIN, STEVIE WONDER, And R. KELLY.
This is just a short bio of all the work i've been involved in. Not to be boastful, but VERY THANKFUL. Also blessed to share the WORD OF GOD thru song all over the United States , as well as over seas. GOD HAS BEEN GOOD !!!
