SideWays Down

Sideways Down has been together for 2 years. They write all original music and have a blast playing out live whenever possible. They've played in the Eugene area at the Saturday Market several times, played the Light of Liberty 4th of July celebration, Java House at Valley Covanent Church, school talent shows, and had a couple of big shows at Agate Hall at the Universtiy of Oregon. They do all this while juggling lots of other intersts such as basketball, ultimate frisbee, football, soccer, dance, and musical theatre. Their musical tastes run from hip hop to pop to alternative rock. Their sound is a unique and creative pop sound which includes violin and saxophone. The message of their songs will appeal to teens since they write what they know, and they are of course teens themselves ranging in ages from 12 to 14. SWD put out their first cd last summer, 2006, titled "Feet Can't Touch The Ground", and are looking forward to recording their next batch of songs since they are growing rapidly as writers and musicians. The new songs show their spunk, increasing skill, and their inventive approach to carving out their own individual creative sound. Nobody's Idiot
