About Me

I was formerly the drummer for several bands including Magenta's Turn, Bunker!, MindCircus , Brainstem Seepage, Gardengate, Deathbed Confession, Robin Graves, The Proclaimers, A Man About a Dog, Catfish Jelly, The X-Ray Men, The Groove Machine, Hellen Crump, and Seven is Magic,(just to name a few) I am into a lot of different music including Rock, Metal, Jazz, Ambient, Psychadelic, Noise, Industrial, and Techno. I also have an interest in darker music. In addition to playing drums I dabble a bit with guitar and keyboards. I mainly use them for songwriting and do not consider myself a guitarist or pianist. I mostly write very dark music and was doing so long before it became hip to call yourself "Gothic". Much of my material was never played in the bands I have been in because it did not fit the style of most of the bands. MindCircus was a Dark Metal band and was the band that best fit my tastes. I really hated when that band broke up. Magenta's Turn/Bunker! was probably the most successful band I was in but I would not say it was the best band. M.T. was very popular for a while although it was not the type of music I typically listen to. Over the years the sound changed so much that we eventually performed under a different name (Bunker!). The Bunker era was more interesting musically for me even though it was much slower and moodier than the band had originally been. It sometimes had some elements of darkness (very much like the Cure) which was fine by me. I still enjoy music but I no longer have the time to play in a serious band. I still like to write and record and would play out locally but I am not going to travel anymore. I am now out of the music business and am currently working as a Superhero, Supermodel, CrimeStalker. Even a Superhero like myself has fears though, and my fear is MarshMallows!SAG2J
