We're celebrating our 250th Anniversary of being a world class city. The celebration lasts all year! For More Details: 250th CelebrationPittsburgh: Imagine What You Can Do HerePittsburgh's Subway and Light-RailI am a city full of beautiful bridges. I used to be nothing but steel mills, but I let go of the past and now it's full steam ahead with new industries. I am home to several Fortune 500 companies. Maybe you've heard of a few. Heinz, PNC Bank, PPG Industries, US Steel. And several Fortune 1000 companies are located here, including Allegheny Technologies, American Eagle Outfitters, Dick's Sporting Goods, Allegheny Energy, Consol Energy. I'm also home to the American headquarters for Bayer and GNC. Sports are a big part of my history and future. 5 time Superbowl Champions... Pittsburgh Steelers play at Heinz Feild on my North Shore. So do the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park. The Pittsburgh Penguins play at Mellon Arena downtown, but not for much longer. A new arena is being built to house the team for the next 30 years... and longer.
