Add to My Profile |HALFWAY DEAD is a Gloversville(slumcity)NY based band formed in 2007 by Cifer on guitar/chief songwriter/director and Rebel on drums/creative consultation.The band was hatched from the idea that this world we live in is getting worse and the way things are going we are all Halfway Dead, so might as well have fun,play some music we like and see where it goes.The two had worked together previously in a local Black Metal/Party band-LeftHandPath-and enlisted the bass skills of that bands former bassist/negative outlook omegaburn and are waiting for this mean drunk guy from vegas to come sing in august .The bands main objective is to write,record,and perform some good old fashioned ghetto metal, and portray the satire of socio-politcal bullshit that is life as we know it through our music.We smoke pot and drink beer and like titties but we aint Motley Crue , just some slamdancing metalhead , dank bud smokin whiskey drinkin sarcastic assholes.Dont get this wrong,however,we rock the party like no other....and will continue until our day is done....you'll see....Currently the band is writing and recording material for a release on SlumCitySounds for this upcoming election year 2008.....so stay tuned.. ..
