Just as Thoreau felt, I cherish solitude, away from societal distractions. I accept that life does not always make sense. It just is. I try to find beauty in all things, and I am always willing to lend an ear if a friend needs someone to talk to. I love the arts, music, nature, and any sport or activity that includes water. I am an animal lover. I have three dogs, and at one time I had a parrot, and an iquana as well. I love delving in projects that allow me to create something. I paint, write poetry, design furniture, sing, and I hope to be able to read music and play my keyboard someday soon.I love all kinds of music. My favorite bands or musicians have been The Cure, Sarah Mclachlan, Kenny Chesney, Billy Holiday, and Third Day, to name a few.I love to travel and learn about the history of places. I have lived in and visited many places in Europe, Korea, and the U.S. I enjoy people, and I love children. We should all learn to be child-like. Not childish, but child-like. Children know how to enjoy life. They are not guarded as adults often are. Their hearts are open, and every day is a new adventure for a child. That is how I want to live my life.
