For Folk's Sake is a travelling and ever-changing mini-festival, hopping from venue to venue to share the sounds of acoustic and gentle electric music with the people. Open to all forms of independent music, For Folk's Sake brings the listener to a place of conscious thought, where tales of humanity and integrity are told and the value of knowledge, peace and community is recognised. For Folk's Sake asks both the musician and the audience to be aware of what they are giving and receiving.
The inaugural For Folk's Sake occurred on April 29th @ The Chophouse, Surfers Paradise - the Gold Coast's best original music venue, featuring Brisbane musicians Tom Cooney, Dan Parsons, Georgia Potter and Tin Can Radio.
