Trickster Music

bringing out the voodoo in you!

About Me

Welcome to TRICKSTER MUSIC - a bubbling cauldron of eclectic and unique sounds, featuring Andy Jarvis & Coo Bennett. Most of our music is represented on individual band myspaces - but we'll also be previewing a few things on this page, that don't fit into any particular project.
If you live in Perth, you'll find us kicking up a swampy racket with our voodoo rock n roll band ROCKET TO MEMPHIS, bustin' out hillbilly jazz and rockabilly in the HIGH ROLLIN' RHYTHM KINGS, delighting crowds with calypso in the uke-toting VIPERS, and charming the punters with dark pop gems in the SHANGHAI SISTERS.
'Taint no sin, to take off your skin and dance around in your bones!
DJ RAZOR JACK... Andy's passion for dusty old vinyl records is indulged weekly at his favourite bar THE HULA BULA. If you're a fan of rockin' sounds, make sure you come down on Thursdays, from 8pm, when you can hear four hours of the wildest and coolest rockin' music ever recorded on GRASS SHACK BOOGIE night.
Razor is also a frequent guest DJ at DEVILLES PAD and the HULA's other nights: Wednesday's ISLAND NIGHT and Friday's RHYTHM HIPS, where you'll everything from 20s calypso and 50s highlife to stompin' Rhythm & Blues, Latin and swingin' Jazz.
