Switch56

Switch56 is a hard hitting, high energy, ear popping, hard rock band based in the Washington DC area. Formed, March 2007 in Warrenton, VA., with a mutual love of good solid rock music, four musicians came together to create a group that has blossomed into one of Northern Virginia's favorite bands. Taking influences from STP, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Seether, Godsmack and many more to create a great modern rock and roll sound that appeals to a wide range of listeners. They are finishing up their latest EP at Cue Recording Studios in Falls Church VA., and will be releasing it in March of 2009. They have performed at many local and regional venues such as Jaxx Nightclub, TT Reynolds, Alley Katz, The Clubhouse, Fat Tuesdays, Strasburg Theater, Firehouse grill, Old Towne Tavern, and many more, with new venues to be added in 2009. Most recently they were the local support for Powerman5000 on their North American tour date in Fairfax VA. Switch56 is Casey Savin, Shawn Moore, Jr Nelson, and BJ Dunford, the original and current members of the band.
