My name is Brenda Robertson Stewart. I'm a forensic artist and mystery author. My first novel is Power in the Blood. It's about a widowed woman who moves back to the neighborhood of her youth in southern Indiana,and who works with an anthropologist at the local university doing facial reconstruction on skulls for identification purposes. Lettie Sue has two neighbors in their nineties and a private detective friend from New Orleans who help her solve the cold cases the police cannot. There are some paranormal elements, but with a twist. I was a professional doll artist for over twenty years,so of course there's a doll collector in the story.
