Third Drawer Down was launched in 2003. The response was fantastic on many different platforms as it made art an accessible item while retaining its artistic integrity. Two years later we have grown into a global art community including participating artists from Iceland, Germany, Canada, USA, France and UK.Third Drawer Down produces high quality 10o% linen, innovative and contemporary Art and Design Tea Towels, “Artprons”, "Artkerchiefs" and Lapkins that explore the prosaic nature of this everyday domestic item.Third Drawer Down contributes to the artistic and wider community in a positive and innovative way by engaging in ongoing dialogue that makes everyday life more interesting and worthwhile via the promotion of art based products of domestic necessity.Third Drawer Down® is available in Art Gallery and Design stores all around the world. Stores include: Tate Modern, Hayward Gallery, MOCA in LA and Chicago, The National Art Centre Tokyo, MCA Sydney and many more unreal stores..We are interested in what you think (domestic) Art is about. It is a fairly unprocessed project. There are no boundaries.
