I am a proud black woman and mother to three children. Though I am British born, I consider myself to be a strong Jamaican woman who is confident and in not afraid to face any curve ball that life has to throw at me! I am assertive and when I set out on a mission, I don't stop until it is accomplished. I am also an independent woman who relies on no one! My claim to fame is just to enjoy life to the fullest and always wear a smile. I also believe that there is a Man who is greater than I am and in whom I put my trust. With that in mind, despite my age (age is but a number) I can be as fun-loving as any 15 year old.I have spent many years in the Caribbean, in Jamaica to be exact (big up to all you Caribbean people out there in cyberland) as a teacher of History and Social Studies. Why those subjects? I firmly believe in the words of the Right Honourable Marcus Mosiah Garvey ;A country without a knowledge of its past is like a tree without roots'. So people get with the program and find out about your culture!I am an avid sports fan (more as a spectator than a participant)but who cares! Favourite sports include Cricket, Football( Arsenal Fan)Track and Field, Tennis and Basketball. Fave singer Sean Paul.Forgot to mention I hate pretenders, liars, cheats and people who use people for their own selfish needs!
