Been Playing since fall 1997. Im mostely self learned, i never had a guitar teacher so i learned pretty much everything the hard way. When i started out mostely played covers of cheasy pop songs(eww) only to get intoo something even more crappier(punk) i joined a local coverband and wrote a few punk songs as well as playing clash covers i discovered Rage Against The Machine about the same time and became drawn more to that kind of music so i was replaced for a more capable player. They acutaly did me a huge favour doing that, although im basicly just a bedroom player now atleast im having fun with playing and composing music myself for the intention of making no profit of it what so ever. When i was replaced i started to explore a more lead orientated playing style with artist such as Jimmy hendrix, Muse, Radiohead and Pearl Jam. After doing that for a while i redisovered one of my youth heroes, Metallica! But eventualy i got tierd of playing metall so i discovered Dream Thater, they completely blew my mind, Songs such as a change of seasons and voices completely changed how i played and listen to music. Now days im looking for new bands to be inspired by and trying to improve my compostiton skills.
