About Me

20 year-old Jamaican rapper Dutch, who hails from a small community in Yallahs, St Thomas called Lloyd’s Ville, has been doing music all his life. Growing up in Jamaica for Dutch wasn't like most kids who got what they wanted, when they wanted it. “I've always had family and friends encouraging me to continue to work hard, as hard work pay off. Consistent motivation from my dad, who is a big influence in my life, has been one of the major contributors for my music crave. Living in a family “Yaad” as we say in Jamaica, I have the passion for expression and I’m always reminding myself that anything is possible if you put your mind to it”. Presently signed to a management team Vintrascope, Inc. in Pompano Beach Florida since 2007 as a solo “ARTIST”, Dutch has started the history making.
As far as performances, Dutch has done countless stage shows (concerts), graduation after-parties, local clubs, where one of his first professional performances was at Weekenz along Constant Spring Road in Kingston. This performance landed him a spot in the daily Chat! Newspaper on Friday June 13, 2008. The writer said, “I’m not quite sure the value of Dutch Money, but this artiste was worth his salt and Weekenz loved him". An interview for a music channel in Spain followed, which also featured local artists such as Twins of Twins, Kiprich and Vybrant. Next was a performance at Edna Manley College’s Poetry Society, titled 'Kingston on the Edge' which was broadcast on Jamaican music channel Hype TV.

Dutch is a member of the Flatline Clique, which consists of producer Noble, rapper Young’n, engineer Deeh and songwriter E’Que. Their first project, a mix tape which will feature tracks from Dutch, is slated for spring 2009.
“I choose Hip-Hop because I saw it as an avenue to share my experiences. Also, as a child, I saw myself as a superstar, but much larger in glow. Presently, Hip-Hop is drawn out. The only dudes doing anything are Tip, Weezy, Kanye and Jay. Hip-hop needs my style to rev things with my blends, style and tenacity. I am the future; as a matter of fact the future is me”.
To see what he’s accomplished thus far, that assumption is only right. After receiving over 500,000 plays in a few weeks on the strength of one track, “Take You High” featuring Young’n, you get the feeling the music world will be more than willing to listen.“I see myself branching out into a wider scene. I see a brighter and better tomorrow for the Flatline Clique and me. We are also focusing on music, movies and merchandising. Right now I'm gearing up for a Grammy. THANKS FOR THE LOVE I'VE BEEN GETTING OVER THE YEARS AND THANKS TO MYSPACE.”For booking for future shows, please contact management, Vintrascope, Inc. @ [email protected] or (954) 818-2043.
