My involvement in music started at the age of 7 where I started playing the piano in a conservatiore. At the age of 12, I started composing while my academic qualifications in music were acquired at Kingston University, South West London. Trauma, The Storm and Romance were recorded at Resident Studios in Willesdon Green, North London.Visit my other websites at:www.cdbaby.com/cd/pkhazen,www.pierre-khazen-mus.blogspot.

This album comprises three tracks: Trauma, The Storm and Romance which were composed as pieces for the piano at the beginning, but as time went on, an idea developed to record them as instrumental music with an electronic-synthesizer touch. The recording was carried out at Resident Studios in willesdon green, North London. Obviously, Romance adopted the romantic period style comprising piano and string quartet sounds. The Storm had to include effects to indicate its name; while a song can indicate its meaning by lyrics, instrumental music had such effects to let the listener feel its atmosphere and by this the message will be received more clearly. While musical elements such notation, rhythm, and so on, all create musical pieces, they must be used correctly so that the expression of the composer’s meaning and intentions arrive to the listener’s conscious and ears as clearly as possible and this is what has been done in all these tracks but with great effort which is work of the composer, my work. But hopefully also the listener will identify himself or herself with the offered music according to his or her background and experiences. Each one of us must have experienced a storm of emotions or genuine love, and a trauma whether it was forgotten or still remembered and this is the reason that this music is for people who are looking to experience music which would widen imagination and emotional outlet, extraordinary therapy and mood excitation. While Trauma may sound spooky or even frightening to some people, but that was the aim.
