I live with my partner Philippe and wonderful son Simon who is in the band Fear is no More but I prefer his solo project When Boy Meets Girl. I have a beautiful daughter, Stephanie, who lives with her partner Bryan (they're getting married on the 14th March 2009) and have three children, Jasmine, Jack and Alfie who are all totally adorable.I was born in Colchester and lived in Elmstead Market most of my life (but never took up the banjo! lol) moving to Clacton-on-Sea when I got married in 1987 which didn't work out ... split in 1992. Finally got to move to Colcheser June 2008 and enjoying it totally!!Life has had its up and downs and trials and tribulations along the way ... but I am a journey rather than destination girl - more a case of having to be. I have spent the last fifteen years bringing up the children on my own - which has been tough love (especially the teenage years) it would have been nice for someone to have stood by me - but thems the breaks. I would say life has taught me some valuable lessons having been duped a few times :Don't suffer fools gladly.Actions speak louder than words.If you want peace be prepared for war.Remember all men have clay feet.If you're reaching for it, it's not yours to command (more of a message to my chemically enhanced neighbours).If all else fails aspire for it then claim each step you make.I enjoy the arts - music of course - but a real appreciation for painting and poetry ... the wonderful thing about art is that it is open to interpretation and anyone can read just about what they want into it (as long as it is there). I am also moved by wonderful lyrics.Despite the rumours, started by Simon, I am not totally infatuated with Daniel Craig ... I happen to think he's a great british actor with his feet on the ground, academic about his performances and nice blue eyesI have a wonderful cat named Tiggs, aka the ginger whinger who used to keep me company midweek when Simon was either out or in the studio practicing his music. Nowadays she only has eyes for Philippe.I love my family, Philippe, Simon's friends (most of them) and my cat Tiggs and couldn't live without a hot cup of tea in the morning, make that two.Well that's about enough said - I don't want to bore you.
