Professional bio:
My name is Sean, I am a piercer at Steel Addictions here in Toledo, Ohio. I commenced my career as a professional piercings back in May 2005. Prior to becoming a piercer I worked here at Steel Addictions for three years as the counter assistant. My duties included such simple shop upkeep tasks such as cleaning, organizing, selling jewerly, answering questions, making sure clients understood how to keep their piercings healthy, and any other odd jobs the piercers had for me. After a year of working the basic needs of the shop I was trained how to both insert jewerly as well as stretch lobes. Through the next two years I perfected my skills in the area of stretching. At the beginning of 2005 one of our piercers was let go and the owner of the shop decided to step down from piercing and retire. With two piercers gone I was asked if I was interested in starting an apprenticeship. I accepted the offer and began my training. Everything came fairly easy to me as I had been working in the industry for a number of years prior and learned many of the basics. Learning stretching 2 years prior helped me a great deal with the transfer from needle to jewerly; this task felt natural performing. My training, which included piercing pieces of rubber, reading up on piercing methods in the Gauntlet handbook, watching every and all piercing I could while being explained of every step, and furthering my knoweldge in sterilization and cross contamination, has culminated into my hardworking, knowledgeable, caring, and professional work ethics.
I believe that everyone deserves not only a healthy and clean piercing but an astetically pleasing one as well. I strive to provide my clients with the knowledge they need to feel comfortable with their body piercing.
My main purpose for this page is to meet new people and help everyone I can with their piercing needs. I enjoy meeting new people and answering whatever questions they have. My other purpose for this page is to keep in touch with those of you I pierce. I want to make sure you are happy and all your questions and needs are tended to throughout your piercing experience. I want my clients and friends to have a way to get ahold of me whenever they need.
Personal and Professional Qualities:
My passion for the body modification industry makes me an appropriate artist to assist you with your needs. Through the years it has come to my attention that such passion is incredibly hard to come by; most notibly here in Toledo. I am constantly hounded with questions from walk-ins, emails, phone calls, instant messages and messages on here from individuals who will have their work done at other shops for mindblowingly dirt cheap prices. The lack of concern from such studios leave their clients with questions about the piercing and how to keep it healthy. I strive to make sure not only all of my clients, but the clients of other shops know exactly how to keep their piercings healthy and have them heal properly. I have made myself available on the internet through this page and instant messanger to keep in contact with my client and establish a more personal and comfortable relationship with them. I care a great deal about the health of my clients and always want to check on how they are healing and make sure they are still happy with the work I have done.

Steel Addictions has been around longer than any other piercing/tattoo studio in the Toledo area. Our entire staff is devoted to excellence. We are all incredibly knowledgable in body modification and will always go out of our way to make sure everyone who stops in or contacts our shop leaves happy and comfortable with taking care of or furthering their insight with the interested piercing(s). We refuse to buy cheap jewerly, needles, tools, equipment and supplies that can ultimately result in an unhealthy piercing. We strive to make sure our clients recieve the best piercing done with quality equipment. We did not receive an award for best Piercing/Tattoo shop in Toledo by cutting corners.
