I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

WAMS is run by two friends who share a mutual apreciation for music. Chatting one day they realised there was a lacking of sites that promote the local musical talent of suffolk. They wanted to to do something about that and compliment the other promo sites. THAT IS HOW 'WE ARE MUSICAL SUFFOLK' WAS BORN.
We have been attending open mic nights since the end of last year and realised that there are lots of tallented singer/songwriters and bands in suffolk and wanted to let everyone know!
Stacey:
I have been passionate about music from a very early age having alot of influences from different genres of music. Having a dad who was a DJ certianly helped. I am now a singer songwriter and enjoy listening to live music and seeing artists come alive when performing.
Charlie:
Also shares an interest in music and interests in promoting local talent. Making it more of a 'commonality' within the community. Live and local music should be more of an 'every day thing' and we should not just be paying to listen to manufactured material!!!
By providing new music videos and biographies every two weeks we hope to provide a more in-depth look at individual artists and groups. Also we will be helping to promote local events and whenever possible, provide critical reviews at gigs and open mic nights...so watch this space!!!
We are now also building up a large achive of musicians biographies and music videos for sourcing and reference. Check out the blog achive for information on previous featured materials and musicians in Suffolk.
