PRINCETON aka CRAY PRINCE

Cray Prince a.k.a Princeton, grew up with an addiction for music. As a grade school student he found interest in any sound producing device. Later years as a high school student in the Montreal borough of La Salle (Da Ville), he developed a passion for the performance of jazz as he toured the country displaying talents he had honed on the trumpet and bass guitar with his schools highly recognized music program. With a constant overlooking eye as well of his grand-father’s, who would bestow his teachings upon him (a former band mate of the late, great, Oscar Peterson) Cray prince was immediately thrust on to a fast track of musical aspirations with goals that were no where near average. Now as a young, educated and reserved musician, Cray has turned his knowledge and talents to a more contemporary form of music; Hip Hop. What hip hop lacks today in creativity and original direction Cray Prince pushes the envelope to deliver. He blends his love for R&B, Jazz and all music with emotion into a conglomerate of refreshing change to a scene that so dearly needs it. He shows no fear wearing his heart on his sleeve, nor putting the life he has lived of trials and tribulations on display nor expressing his most politically incorrect desires... Princeton (as he is most referred to by friends) is the epitome of self-expression through music at its highest creative and thought provoking level. All one can say about Princeton is...listen.
