Last Crush was formed in early 2007 when singer/songwriter Carrie Solomon first showed her songs to guitarist Armando Cadena. A few years and a couple of drummers and bassists later, the band has crafted their own sound by combining rock, pop, punk, and occasionally folk rock. Often compared to the vocal and musical styles of Gwen Stefani and Michelle Branch, Carrie's vocals and infectious hooks are layered on top of guitar-driven rock/pop that is dynamic, edgy, and always catchy.
Based in Austin, TX, Last Crush has shared the stage with local celebrities FireKills and Van's Warped Tour veterans Blameshift. The band's latest accomplishment is the completion of their 6-song EP, which is currently featured online and soon to be featured at their local shows throughout the summer at venues such as Red 7.
