About Me

Lived in westbury untill i was 5ish then moved over to warminster where i have stayed untill this day, i havent changed a bit since school (apart from the beer has made me a bigger bloke!) Im well into my d&b it's a major part of my life i enjoy all undergroung music but drum and bass jus has so much more power and energy, makes people go wild and i enjoy bringin it. my 1st pair of decks i owned was a pair of DLP 1600 beltdrives , fuckin awful decks , but people from back then who didnt have the money for technics knows that these wher like the cheapest things you could get, a mate brought um up the garage (aload of us used to hang in some geezas garage that had sounds, playstation, bed ,sofa, jus like another room of a house apart from the walls needed a coat of paint), he set them up and told me a few things, of corse i was terrible at 1st but i grew to enjoy em, so i brought um for 100quid when he was strung out one rainy day that was when i was 12-13 ish. Later on i moved up to technic 1200's mk2's which i brought for 550quid with some shity mixer , but also let me have all his old jungle, i was originaly a hardcore head, but after mixing jungle for a while i grew to love that style aswell, and carried on buying d&b as of 1998-1999.alot of Ram Records got me into it, ram was jus such an amazing label including charge , True playerz, Virus, Bad Comp and loads more. i couldnt help but keep up to date with all the latest promos so i used to see Wink alot down his record shop (nicky and a few heads may know him from bookings at club ice etc plus he goes wayyy back)Anyway up untill now im still buying d&b alot and have optained a pair of limited edition 1200GLD gold decks (on pics) which i love , same cant be said about the room lol which is in a shit state and bout time i got another sound system! but it does the job and is loud enuff. In the future im thinking about buying a cd deck as it seems to be the way forward, but only the one like, you cant beat good old vinyl mixxin, it will never die as long as d&b stays fresh and keeps moving, il continue to move along with it.
