Over the last three years Mark Duggan has become one of Irelands leading music photographers. In 2004 Mark graduated from the University Of Wolverhampton with a degree in Digital Media. On his return to Dublin, he set up WhiteNoiseVisuals and has since worked with literally hundreds of bands around the country.
Mark has exhibited his work at the Hard Working Class Hero’s festival two years in a row and was given the task of co-ordinating the photography exhibition last year. In 2005 Mark was asked to join new Dublin magazine, Connected as chief photographer.
Last year Mark worked extensively on a series of promotional photographs for the Improvised Music Company who represent the majority of Irish jazz bands. He also works as resident photographer for Whelan’s and The Village.
Mark’s photography has been featured in Hot Press, The Irish Times, Totally Dublin, The Sunday Independent and has had work featured in both the UK & Irish editions of the NME. More recently Mark was hired by Heineken to photograph their ‘Heineken Green Energy Festival’ and is currently working on a music video for Dublin band The Negative Way.
He is also to be the subject of a documentary being made for the American television station Current TV which is owned by Al Gore. Mark is continually taking on commissions from PR companies, record labels, magazines, bands, artists and clothing companies.
