So I've finally settled down for awhile (hopefully) in Malden, MA. I'm getting ready for my 2nd winter up here in Mass, and I hope the snow is good this season!!!Even though I've met some awesome people at school, I still miss all my Albuquerque friends like crazy. They are the funnest, drunkest, best people ever. I can't wait till they all trickle up here to visit me!Mass is actually really cool though. I'm gonna be a successful little scientist here. The people are a little psycho...but so far that hasn't rubbed off on me too much...

My Interests

I'm interested in life. And interesting things :). I like to cook, snowboard, read, watch movies, drive cars...among other things. I also like beer. I wish it was still Summer Ale time!

I'd like to meet:

So it used to be all about the fast cars and loose men. Or loose men who drive fast cars. Nowadays, what with the boyfriend and all, it's about interesting people who like to laugh, intelligent people who can also cut loose and get shitfaced, and people who have something important to say. I like new things and new people, for the most part.

Music:

Nofx...operation ivy...rancid...crystal method...orbital...fatboy slim...fluke...cake...underworld...messiah...sneaker pimps...juno reactor...3 doors down...dashboard confessional...matchbook romance...chemical bros...something corporate...dead kennedys...johnny cash...flogging molly...afi...greenday...sublime...sugarcult...etc.

Movies:

Boondock saints...lola rennt...25th hour...intermission...pirates of the carribean...harry potter (first 2)...snatch...pitch black (for some strange reason)...pulp fiction...there are way too many to list; these are just a couple that pop into my head...

Television:

CSI vegas and law & order (svu and criminal intent). the sig other has partially gotten me into myth busters also. i tend to hate t.v. though. amendment: now that we only have basic basic cable, and there are only like two choices to watch at any given time, I've also added house and gray's anatomy to my list.

Books:

Anything by heinlein...the dune series (and all the "house" books--yeah, i'm a nerd)...harry potter...the lord of the rings trilogy (and the hobbit too)...the davinci code...just about any fiction...

Heroes:

I admire lots of people, but no one's been bumped up to hero status yet...
