About Me

I am a woman in the autumn of my life...and I would like to say that the trip has been just that...a trip. I have been involved in transformational growth since I was very young. As a child, I wanted to be a nun. What I really ended up doing was marrying my high school sweetheart and having three great kids. My yearning for God found an outlet in my study of yoga and yoga philosophy. I began teaching yoga/yoga philosophy in 1971 and taught it for over twenty years.A large focus of my life has been on the true education and upbringing of the children of this world. Educare...Focusing on today, I am still in the process letting go of "that which I am not" and moving ever more toward "That Which I AM". To do that, I am quiet; I turn within. I also question myself for true meaning... What is it that is important to me in this life? Can I approach death reaching that space that the Apache warrior Geronimo talked about when said that when he prayed, he reached the spot where he was "only spirit"? I try to remember...you are not the body; you are not the body... Another question: How do I show love? Am I leaving a legacy of service to others and to the world? I am in great admiration to others that have gone before me to lead the way, and I look toward the light they have shed on the path as I uncover the light within.Happy Journey, Everyone, and Namaste!
