About Me

I was born in New York State near Ithaca/Binghamton and moved to Arizona in '92. I have always been a music lover and traveler. In late 60's I lived just outside Woodstock during the summers, winters I hitched to Miami, this went on for 3 years. I ended up in Ecuador, S.A in '72 for a 3-year stint in the Peace Corp. It was here I learned about the simple life and befriended Santiago Borja who trained me in classical guitar building (2years). Upon my return I went to Austin, TX, living there for about 3 years. While in Austin I met a number outstanding songwriters and musicians, seeing them on a daily basis, A few of the names, Townes VanZant, Guy Clark, Jerry Jeff Walker and Willie Nelson. I became steeped in the tradition of songwriting. As life would have it a motorcycle accident ceased my playing days....oh the days, I still think about the jams, the great people, some of who are still in the Austin circuit. Six months went by without being able to pick up an instrument. I decided to wander back to NY. The story goes on...after moving here I traveled the US and Canada, to Europe and China..still so much more to see. Five years ago I began to rekindle the playing and building which had become so engrained in me. Hence Gypsy's Music.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:
