"UpNoirthicana" . . . . Lo fi, Alt Antacid Country/Folk "flat capped freedom fighters" . . . well it all started as a bit of a laugh really, then some people told us they liked what we did (OK then,mainly . . . Old Man Pie and Buck of "I am the Twister"!) . . . but then we realised we had a small forum to vent our spleens . . . say what we wanted to say . . . and in this supine world of celebrity worship, affluenza, wide screen reality TV and blind passive acceptance of what is going on around us . . . . we wrote some songs . . . well the government stopped most other forms of protest . . . . we hope you like them and what they have got to say . . . as Pete Seeger once said "There is hope for the world" (Power of Song) . . . er oh yeah and "Plagiarism is the basis of all culture" . . . Ha!Now that Mad Max II is upon us . . . yep, we can't afford a loaf of bread and the oil is running out . . . I guess there will be plenty more to write about!!We also did some "nice" songs . . . .
