About Me

This is what happens in my house:

Modelling (since people ask!)

Please contact me about TFP/CD (or you can pay me if you like!) - I'm happy to model for you as long as I like the idea and as long as you can take decent photos! I don't do nude, and my boyfriend comes with me to shoots (he won't interfere and in fact comes in handy to hold reflectors). I'm open to ideas! I like the fun of modelling - dressing up and being creative - for me, it's not about being the centre of attention and polishing my ego.

Librarian by day, Pin-up by night!

I love 50s and early 60s style, and also music from that period. I'm not averse to more current stuff, but to be honest it's only The Smiths and Morrissey that I am particularly passionate about. And bearing in mind he's got his head stuck in the past as well, it's not much of a surprise.

I like a bit of indie music too - , Suede, The Divine Comedy, Pulp, Joy Division & New Order, Blur, Interpol, Franz, Kaiser Chiefs. I don't like swing music all that much as I find it a bit too sleek, though I do like loungecore. Pretty much, if it's raw or it's melodramatic or miserable-with-nice-guitars, then I like it. Hell, I even like opera, as long as it's Maria Callas singing it! I think Billie Holiday is awesome, and I like some soul, as long as it's not too polished, but the whole Northern Soul thing baffles me as I find it a bit dull.

I don't like limiting myself to listening to "just this" or "just that" because of a tag. I cannot bear most chart music these days, and what passes for punk is a travesty of fakery.

Aside from music and clothes (and been a genealogy geek!) and that sort of thing, I adore animals.

Right, I'll stop boring you now. Look at the pictures. ;)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who won't think I'm eccentric. Because I'm not eccentric, it's just that most of the human race is rather boring.

Wrestling with my flab

I'm quite upfront about not being slim. It's a bit embarrassing, actually, as back in 2006, I thought I was a size 16. That was until I ordered a Stop Staring dress and imported it to the UK, only to ...
