Kristin [noun]: A beat poet working the streets
so... time for an update! here goes... i'm a native californian, born in beverly hills, slept in inglewood raised in venice. I just moved back from tampa, florida where i resided for about 2 and a half years. i made some great friends and had some good times...but damn it feels good to be home!! i only had to drive for 3 days, get pulled over twice (and get only 1 speeding ticket), make a quick stop on bourbon street for lunch get lost in dallas texas, lose my debit card in new mexico and have my air conditioning stop working in arizona... after all of that, i made it. i've done a lot of growing up in the past couple years... but it's still just crazy kristin at heart. i don't understand prejugdice of any kind; racism, sexism, scared of homo-ism... you know what i mean. i come from a crazy mix of ethnicites; the majority being black and filipino. don't ask me to choose one or which one i relate with more because i appreciate all the aspects of the cultures that i have been raised to call my own. i'm very open minded... for the most part i'm willing to try new things. i'm not really you're average girl, ask mick, ann or amie; they can tell you what that means. or you could just ask me! the beach is my refuge... i will jump at just about any chance to go. i love pretty things and pretty place. i'm a huge fan of silly, because that is what i am. doing things with the the people i love is what i love best. whether it's a glass of wine and a good movie, going out dancing, hanging out by the pool or just plain hanging out... i'm down. you can get me to do just about anything if you wave ice cream in front of me; it's my weakness what can i say
