About Me

Tommy Trull's HONEYBOY was awarded second place in the 2008 Handcart Ensemble Playwriting Competition. His first play, ECHOES OF MERCY, was presented in a workshop production by 3rd Stage Theatre Company in 2007, winning the Mark S. Gilbert Award for the North Carolina New Play Project. Two one-act plays, A DEAF EAR and A QUIET PUBLIC PLACE, have been featured in the Greensboro Playwrights' Forum's "Evening of Short Plays." He also served as screenwriter for the General Pictures film OBLIVION.His poems and short stories have appeared in several literary magazines, including The Lightning Bell Poetry Journal and sidereality, and he has been a finalist for the Fred Chappell College Poetry Award.www.doollee.com/PlaywrightsT/trull-tommy.html
