Channel Red

On a hot summernight in 2003 there was a special meeting in the deepest and darkest caves of stripclub After Dark. Three cocky guys from Eindhoven Rockcity went there to see a tight nudeshow, but there was something missing, rocking music to go with the show. After some oldwhoring they found out that all three of them played an instrument: Mario likes to pull the thickest string of his contrabass and he even can sing, Erik on drums (he likes to hit all sorts of skin...), and Michael on guitar with some fast fingering. The show was over, beerbottles covered the table and all kinds of thoughts were shared, especially about music... Soon there was a rehearsal and Channel Red saw the (red) light. Even though they’re just three cocky guys, they produce enough volume and power in a raw set of Neo Rockabilly with some twists of Surf, Punk and Country (line-dancing alowed, as long as it’s naked). Some highlights where they played very succesfully were among others: The Rockabilly Rumble in Landgraaf, Koningindorock in Eindhoven, Klats em der in, in Horst, The Beeb Rocks in Eindhoven, Skull and Bones art exhibition Amsterdam, Second rockabilly art exhibition Amsterdam, support act for Mr. Entertainment Deke Dickerson (usa) in Geldrop and support act for The Go Getters (s) in De Kroeg in Geldrop as well as The Cruise Inn in Amsterdam, also support act for Lee rocker (stray cats!) at 013 Tilburg.Don’t ever ask them why... The devil made them do it.
