Atlanta Astronomer

About Me

Most people dig looking at the stars, planets and the moon but rarely get a real chance to see them through a telescope. Most people could only recognize these celestial objects in a textbook or on a kids' glow-in-the-dark sticker. With all the city lights out there it is easy to forget there is a whole universe up in the sky. It's hard to find the time and the place to look up to the heavens and enjoy what is out there. That's why I'm trying to beat the lights and put the scope out there for people to see. Please refer to the official sidewalk astronomers website for news releases and club information at www.sidewalkastronomers.us

This site is maintained by an independent volunteer for the sidewalk astronomy club in the Atlanta Metro Area.

Another astronomy group worth visiting is the Atlanta Astronomy Club www.atlantaastronomy.org
