Some Like It Hot began playing together in 1999, when they met at a Women In Blues show at B.B. King's at Universal City. There was such an immediate chemistry between the players that they decided to put together an ongoing "revue" of women blues musicians and singers, and have been working together ever since. Every one of these women is a headliner in her own right, many with their own bands and CDs, and you never know who will surprise you and show up! However, together they put on an explosive and exciting show that combines all their vocal and instrumental talent, as well as their enjoyment and appreciation of each other and their music.They are currently at work on their first CD.Part down-home blues, part slumber party -Nobody does it like Some Like It Hot!
