About Me

Welcome to Syncro-69’s MySpace Page.
Well I guess the first thing I should say is hello. The second thing I should say is thank you for taking the time to arrive here and read this, it takes a little effort to be interested in what others are doing in the world, and if you are wondering why you are on this planet, welcome to the club!I am not here for the ME thing, what I mean is that I am not here to advertise about how great I am or that the world is centered around me, far from it, in fact I am here because it is a place to present the music I am making currently. So far I can only gather that’s why I am here, since day and night for the moment I just can’t stop thinking about music, like many of you I am sure! From the age of 15 I can remember trying very hard to get two electronic tracks to mix together, having never even seen or known this was being done until I bought my first dance album. Once I realized the only way I could get two tracks to mix seamlessly was to buy some decks that had speed control, I surely did…and this was where the journey started…And boy was it a long one. I started doing house parties and then when one kind man told me I should invest in the full rig and do it professionally I did and I have had some awesome memories and now and extensive music collection to thank him for. I then was lucky enough to meet a guy called Rob Taylor who was using software to make music and back then this was trusty old Acid (note.. not the drug, though it may have helped make some crazy shit for someone!.. )For years I played around making short loops but never completed a DAM thing, maybe the timing was too early since I was still learning to mix then. So that’s kind of how it all started and after a few years of running the classic Mobile Disco, working in pubs, clubs and spending many hours at festivals and clubs in London, I arrived here making it. It’s a great feeling because I can remember buying Vinyl in shops and this was the second great part of being a dj because you lost many hours picking your personal set, that in those days you could be sure was a little unique for the effort. The sound, smell, touch and pure sexiness of vinyl will never leave my soul. I was also one of the first then to start with CD mixing and I was definitely not one of the boys for doing that, but my shoulders were hurting from the bags of Vinyl and my back was dead from transporting the decks, and being a man of technology, first is always good.I moved to Belgium for love that since vanished (too much music makes a man very boring) and since I sold all my kit (rule number 1 never sell your decks) I was left with a big hole in my heart. I invested last year in all that was needed to produce after meeting Electric Soulside at a dance festival. I owe so much to these guys because I was able to continue a passion I thought was left on EBay. So in the middle of 2008 I started working on production and a year later and after a hard year on learning and finding my way I am now here. The journey has only started and the learning will never stop, I hope I can continue to grow and be as good as the artist’s that have inspired and keep inspiring me to create. So a low down on where I am now:-Signed on VIM (Very Important Music) in Greece with two first releases “Thermal Motion” & “Break the Silence” on Beatport on 5th March 2009. This style is Break Beat Genre.I also work with Electric Soulside on some Electro House Genre “Porno Star – Champion Beats – London Canada” and “Black Porsche – Potty Mouth Records – Chicago”For the Electro tracks I have provided the concept and Vocals and The mighty talented Electric Soulside used their creative talents to make them what they are today and we had a lot of fun doing them! So the journey starts here and I am very lucky to have this opportunity right now.So if you have taken the time to get to this point in the Blog you will understand the reason for Syncro 69. I am always grateful for feedback and to meet new artists and people, so please add me to your contacts and I will take the time to listen to your music (fall in love with it) and read about you to hopefully learn and find reasons like you as to why we are all here.If my music makes you content, heals your pain, keeps you motivated, brings you a smile, makes you cry, makes you dance, makes the boring tasks easier or annoys the crap out of you..Then great..Because that‘s what I want it to do.You never probably realize the story behind one piece of music when you buy or listen to it. Music is personal and it touches people in many ways and has an incredible way of finding and feeling emotions that the naked eye can never see. You will never see or touch the workings of a human brain and as soon as any sound enters your ears it reaches places that even the most talented scientist or doctor will ever dare to venture.Syncro 69RELEASES FEBRUARY/MARCH 2009Available at online Stores:www.djdownload.comwww.beatport.comwww.audiojelly.comw ww.beatsdigital.comwww.trackitdown.netwww.ibizadanceclub.com www.djmr.comwww.amazon.com www.djtunes.comwww.web-records.comRecord Release:-Syncro 69 - Thermal Motion - VIM RecordsSyncro 69 - Break The Silence - VIM RecordsCaloborations:-Electric Soulside Feat Syncro 69 - Porno Star - Champion BeatsElectric Soulside Feat Syncro 69 - Black Porsche - Potty Mouth..
