Greetings and salutations! Welcome to our Myspace page and thanks for stopping by! On behalf of the band, I'd like to thank all of our friends who have supported us through our musical adventure over the past ten years. We're very fortunate, in that we have had the freedom to play the kind of music that we want to play. We decided a long time ago that we were not going to play cover songs that most bar bands play. We play music that we grew up with and truly love. If you come to hear us play, we'll perform music of the Grateful Dead, Little Feat, The Allman Brothers Band, Hot Tuna, the New Riders Of The Purple Sage and other improvisational musical acts. We also dig Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles and a handful of other '60's and '70's bands from that era.We don't have a set list when we take the stage. We did only once, and that was for our 10th year anniversary show when we performed the Grateful Dead's "Europe '72" LP...We did improvise other songs for the rest of that night. Would you expect anything less?Nearly two years ago, we released our first CD which included nine original songs. We also perform songs from this CD, which we sell at our gigs. For a fraction of a mortgage payment ($10.00!), you can take home a piece of Rose Wharf Band history!That's all for now. A very special thank you to our amiga, Jenn, who set up this page for us!
