I'm Mohammed Jiwa, or just Mo for short, if you prefer.
I'm a singer/songwriter from the small city of Peterborough, England (which is like 80 miles north of London - East Midlands!) There's not really much of a music scene there - but it doesn't stop a few of us from trying though :)
I started out on the guitar when I was sixteen, and then just progressed onto the bass, keys, drums and eventually harmonica. I don't play any of them particularly well however, I just try and do what I can with the little knowledge I have.
I started putting out my music under the pseudonym "Fluoridation" in 2005, and from the response I got, I made a last.fm page.
After that I put together my band, BiPOLAR SHRiMP (www.myspace.com/bipolarshrimp), however lately, I've been feeling the need to fulfill my solo needs, and so I've started composing songs again, closer to the acoustic music I was originally inspired by. This is why I have ended the band... so BiPOLAR SHRiMP no longer exists - sorry to our few, but dedicated fans :(
Recently I've been trying to write new some new music, but I'm focusing on getting my first album recorded... it's just going to take some time and money :S
