CHRIS & KYLE with TRUE SPIRIT Comin' Out From Under God continues to amaze the body of Christ in this day and time as He takes ordinary people and ordains them for service of such major proportions and magnitude, but Chris & Kyle with True Spirit are by no stretch of the imagination just plain ordinary. Music excellence with humility best describes this dynamic songwriter/producer duo. These two music ministers from St. Louis, Missouri have made their presence felt on the local scene and continue to make waves on the national gospel stage and abroad. Chris has written for national artists such as the GMWA Mass Choir, Wilmington Chester Mass Choir and most recently, Grammy and Stellar Award Nominees Bishop Eddie Long and The New Birth Total Praise Choir. Kyle, who is also an accomplished musician and upcoming producer, penned the composition, "What Worship Is", which was featured at the historic 1999 Papal Visit of Pope John Paul II in St. Louis Missouri, and has also done work with the famed INUNISON Chorus and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. True Spirit are comprised of 40 spirit-filled and anointed vessels of God from the St. Louis-East St. Louis area that strive to live the life that God is calling for. With their wide variety of music from urban contemporary to traditional gospel and even anthems for the soul, they are able to deliver God's message of salvation, love and hope with enthusiasm and excellence. Chris and Kyle with True Spirit, have been featured with artists such as Country/Rock Legend Lyle Lovett, Award Winning Actress Jenifer Lewis (Madea’s Family Reunion, What’s Love Got to Do With It, Strong Medicine, etc,), Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Donald Lawrence, Byron Cage, Kurt Carr, Tonex, Michael McDonald and Marilyn McCoo. They have also been feature with national events such as the Pre Stellar Awards Show Celebration, The 2002 NFC Championship Game Halftime Show, Missouri's Martin Luther King Jr.'s Holiday Gala Celebration at Powell Symphony Hall, Bobby Jones Gospel, Walt “Baby” Love, Missouri Black Expo, Joe Torry Foundation Annual Celebrity Basketball Game Halftime Show, and even The National Dance Theatre of Harlem. With Chris and Kyle's unique ability to usher in the presence of God through music ministry and the anointed singing ministry of True Spirit with their current national debut release entitled "Comin Out From Under"(Crystal Rose Records/Ashanti Music Group) featuring such hits as “Because of The Blood”, “Lord I Love You”, “Ready To Fight” and “And He Blessed My Soul” and their sophomore live project slated to be released in the Summer of 2007, Chris & Kyle with True Spirit will continue to make a powerful impact on the gospel music scene for years to come.
