About Me

Cursor by www.Soup-Faerie.Com I'm Amy! I'm a Certified Personal Trainer, I work 1-on-1 in-home with Special Population clients; I have worked with kids and pre/postnatal, and I am currently focusing on Adapted Fitness, as well as women who have food issues. I have been in the fitness industry since 1991, as a group exercise instructor and, for the past 12 years, as a personal trainer with my own business.
My philosophy on exercise is "do what you like", whatever gets you moving is the best exercise for you! One day it may be biking, the next, walking, then maybe nothing at all. The idea is if you like what you are doing, you will stick with it! Yardwork is a favorite of mine, but I only do it once a week. *Too much* of anything is not good, even if it's a good thing!

Campaign for Real Beauty from Dove
When I first saw this ad campaign, it was kind of shocking...not because these women are not beautiful, but that they were *in* a major ad campaign. Most magazines and advertising show the unattainable body or face, these natural beauties stand out so much more and make a powerful statement. Let them know what you think.
