BLITZSPEER

Well, Blitzspeer pretty much started after I got KICKED OUT of RAGING SLAB for (due to reasons beyond my control) cutting all my hair off and dying it Orange. We (slab) had been rehersing at this studio in midtown NYC and the tech there LEE introduced me to SCOTTY, some kid on rollerblades that played guitar and worked there and wanted to play in a band. We would sit in his apartment on 14 street and ave B, above this THAI restraunt and watch T.V. with the sound off and hammer out ideas until the smell of garlic and spices was enough to drive us mad. Then we would go eat and take care of our more PRIMAL needs that the LowerEastSide had to offer at that time. ENTER PHIL (formerly of SHRAPNEL and other 'Projects') - SCOTTY knew him as a guitar player and I guess, looking back, SOMEONE HAD TO SING. Thus the band BLITZSPEER was created. There were a bunch of different Drummers in the early days, I remember one that played NORTH drums and had a BITCHIN 70+1/2 Z-28 Camaro that was FLAT BLACK and lived in the BRONX. -Cant remember his name tho... MACKIE played on DEMOS we made for Atlantic (among other labels) until we enlisted LOUIE as the powerplant to drive the STREET-METAL-MONSTER that we had created. Then there was Bryan for 'SAVES', and Ratt for the 3rd recording that appears as 'DEMOS'. BUT ENOUGH FOR NOW!! There will be more Stories, Corrections, Spell Checking, Additions, and Deleations, as well as a list of EVERY BAND WE'VE EVER PLAYED WITH!!! .. oh yeah, and the REUNION TOUR that you ALL YEARN FOR !!!
