Without a doubt this young artist has captivated audiences near and abroad. Her vocal techniques are superb with an anointing for this generation. Her name is TASHA LOCKHART. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan; music was birthed in her. Her mother is Lisa Page (Brooks), lead singer of Detroit’s highly acclaimed contemporary female group, Witness. Her dad is Michael Brooks; producer and founder of such groups as Witness and the famed male group Commissioned. Both parents currently pastor at Restoration Fellowship Church;Southfield, MI. Witness made a brief hiatus but returned on the scene in early 2000 with TASHA as youngest member of the group. Noted for her vocal style at such a young age, she has traveled such places as London and Germany performing across the country.TASHA is married to Clifton "Cliff" Lockhart (musician) and they reside in Atlanta, Georgia. She faithfully attends the New Life International Family Church (Bishop/Dr. Jeronn C. Williams). She is currently making appearances at local venues will soon be appearing in a major touring stage play (See Upcoming Shows), and has appeared in commercials for General Motors, Red Wings, The United Way and Dodge Caravan. She continues in her public career by singing and writing with an aspiration to produce a cd solo project . Although she has shared the stage with such greats as Vickie Winans, Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, the Clark Sisters, Jeff Majors, and Donnie McClurkin to name a few, she remains humble and dedicated to truth. In her own words she states “There is no particular person I simply follow. I am influenced by anybody who is anointed and is true in what they believe.
