Beaches, Raiders Football, shopping, cooking. I like~~the smell of the ocean, kittens, winnie the pooh,
spooning, the sun in Springtime, driving with the windows down, singing to the songs on the radio, the feeling I get when one of my lil cousins throws their arms around me and tells me they love me, walking barefoot in the sand, the smell of cologne on a man, music that makes me want to dance, having my hair played with, curling up in bed after a hot shower, Disneyland, getting a pedicure, hugs, caramel frappacino's, nectarines, listening to rain, my cousin's Mexican rice, fresh avocados and guacamole, a man that opens doors and orders for me, bubble baths, laughing, the smell of jasmine on a warm night, hearing "Autumn Wind" being played at a home game, carnations and lilies more than roses, having my neck and back rubbed, getting a tan, thunder and lightening storms, waking up and realizing I don't have to get up yet, the way a mans hair feels when he gets it shaved down or faded, the smell of Downy Fabric Softner, laying out at night watching the moon and the stars, swinging on a swing, deep sensual slow kisses, fireworks, the smell of fresh cut grass, the sound of a muscle car revving it's engine,
that happy look when someone opens a present I've given them, being loved and respected.center

But until then . . . . . . . . . I want to talk to down to earth fun and funny people. I am looking to talk to my friends and try to keep up with everything that is happening in our lives.
Booty call or friends with benefits requests will be denied - so please don't waste your time or mine
Life is too short to deal with people that are fake. I don't have the time or the patience to deal with the drama. If you just want to hate then go talk to someone else.
I may not be perfect on the outside but I am a damn good person on the inside and I deserve respect.

Pretty much anything I can dance to-and no I can not dance to Country
Movies:
My all time favorite - Grease!! I love musical romance.
The Mariachi trilogy(El Mariachi, Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico). Anotonio Banderas kills me with that accent! I know he's not Mexicano-but he still sounds good
Also top of the list is Dirty Dancing, and now Dirty Dancing Havana Nights-the music and dancing were soo good.
I love scary movies - Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween (the original) any good plotless slasher movie.
Funny stuff-my taste is toward stupid funny, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Jim Carrey.
Movies with a message like Passion of the Christ, Day Without a Mexican
Stuff that touches my heart - Selena, A time to Kill, The Notebook
I'm getting into Mexican produced movies - recent favorites are Y Tu Mama Tambien and Como Agua para Chocolate, Bad Education
And the classics - To kill a Mockingbird, Arsenic & Old Lace
Television:
I'm an old school WB groupie (Dawson's Creek, Angel, Buffy), but now I just can't miss CSI (all of them), Cold Case, Ugly Betty, and Extreme Makeover (I always end up crying!)
Other than those network shows I usually channel surf through MTV, VH1, E! and A&E (the forensic and criminal stuff)SciFi Channel. I like Pimp My Ride, True Hollywood Story, Made, Behind the Music, True Life, and my guilty pleasure~Girls Next Door (Bridget is the bomb!).
Books:
Woman Thou Art Loosed by TD Jakes. Catholicism and Fundamantalism~the Attack on Romanism -Keating. Makers Diet - Rubin. I like the Left Behind Series. Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold was great. I also like Stephen Kings twisted mind. Sylvia Brown is currently holding my interest - I read some of the Series of the Soul books and am starting Insight. But I'm a big gossip rag reader (People. US) and glam rags (Cosmo and Glamour)
Heroes:
Of course I have to first give praise to Jesus - he knew the outcome but he still loved us enough to go through it all.
My hero was my granny - she didn't do things the way it was expected. She didn't marry until close to 30 (this was in the 30's!) had my mom at 35. Worked outside the home. She was a beautiful woman with wavy jet black hair, soft olive colored skin (she was Portuguese), thin curvy shape, deep brown eyes. She was always cooking for everyone and anyone that came around. Her house was always open to anyone that needed a place to stop. Grandma's house was where everyone always was and she loved it. She loved to hula dance (she was born in Hawaii) and sing and party and just have fun. She was the greatest most loving person in the world to grow up around, I hope I become more and more like her.
