Daves Penny Project

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am the guy that runs Excursion Records and also the guy who made The Edge of Quarrel.

My name is Dave Larson and I am collecting one million pennies.

I also have this website where I am writing down the story of my life. Just, y'know, for something to do. Here's the link:

The front page is a list of links that I put up for people. Click the link to the main page and it will take you to my blog and THE STORY and everything else. (Or by all means follow some of those links at random and see where they take you!)

In the interest of full disclosure I should tell you that I started the site as a way to raise money to eradicate my credit card debt. The whole story of what I am trying to do and how I am trying to do it is there, so check it out.
And no, I am not asking you for money.

I will update this page as I update THE STORY, so check back now and then to see where it goes. It has been a lot of fun writing it so far, and by the end I intend for it to cover pretty much everything up to the present. I may need some of you to remind me if I leave anything out!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who thought that the world was supposed to be a great place, and who still carry on like it could be.

Much of that night is lost or obscured in a drunken haze...

I remember that Shawn had constructed a "beer bong" for the occasion that consisted of a funnel with a long piece of tubing attached. A person would hold a thumb over the open end of the tube while an...

I spent all of middle school seriously believing that I was going to die.

I am dead serious about this, and it sucked hard. Aside from the fact that I thought I was developing some new, fatal disease each time by body changed in any way or I got a cough or sore throat, I wa...

Bellingham is as good a place to start as any...

...I suppose; which is a fine thing considering that it is where my story begins. It is a small Western Washington city near the top of the I-5 corridor about 30 miles south of the Canadian border. I ...
