Antonio Ribeiro was born in 1978 in Teresópolis, city near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Your mother, always singing while cooking and doing home stuff motivated Anthony to search some kind of path through music...
Starting with some recorders (soprano, alto and tenor), Antonio soon realized that music would be your way of life.
Start to have flute lessons with Lena Horta (great brazilian acustic guitar player Toninho Horta..s sister) and with some other teachers, Antonio discovered his style of playing and kept going in music.
With your friend Rodrigo Veiga (drums), decided to creat a brazilian jazz quartet, named Caixa Acústica in the end of 99..s.
Caixa Acústica changes its components, but Anthony and Rodrigo keep going with the quartet.. playing all around Brazil and getting some Europeans gigs.
