1991 - 1996 most of you know a bar or front door where I used to stand (if it was still early in the night and I could still stand) Pockets full of pay-outs and Black Tops. After the problems @ Limelight I went to work @ Robots for a short time.
I finally got out of the clubs and lifestyle and excelled in the corporate world @ Interport Communications, then I moved on to Russell Reynolds Associates in 1999 and stayed till October 2006 when I decided to relocate to Daytona Beach and leave the 9-5 behind.
Now settled in, I started Casa de Comienzo Fresco (House of Fresh Beginning) and Locanda Di Sogno (Dream Inn). I buy x-crack houses in Daytona Beach, completely rehab them and make them available to low-income, single parents to raise their families in a safe, drug free environment.
The 4 beedroom Duplex on School Street was finished in July. My second project a three bedroom home in the same area is now complete and last week I bought my biggest property, 2100+ sq feet of potential...I'm using, marble, exotic hardwoods, granite, and lots of love...just because a tenant can't afford these things on their own, it doesn't mean they don't deserve them and they will get them in one of my rehabilitated homes...
Countless strangers have stopped me on the street and said, "you are the answer to our prayers," I've never been that to anyone. The dividends these projects pay is immeasurable, not in terms of dollars, but in the satisfaction of helping people in with such a basic need as housing...who knew
