As a band who creates an innovative sound by juxtaposing over the top guitar solos and metal riffs with a realm of ever changing progression, Cain's Fury has already solidified a standard for themselves by altering and warping the conventional aspects of music, lyrics and underlying, thematic content. Formed in January of 2008, and comprised of bandmates, Dain Land(Vocals/Guitar), Timmy Young(Lead Guitar), David Weeks(Drummer) and Chris McCormick(Bassist), Cain's Fury has trudged through individual experiences, playing with other bands through their teenage years. These individual experiences have contributed greatly to the fact that each musician who creates Cain's Fury, is comfortable and confident in blending the melodic genre of Pop with the aggressive genres of Hard Rock and Metal; all to develop extreme changes in their music that are both captivating and intriguing to the listeners. Collectively, Cain's Fury has been successful at choosing ambiguous lyrics that illustrate a different story and a different tale in each song. Every song that the band creates is formed with high energy; designed to keep the Cain's Fury fans on their feet and moving during live performances. Cain's Fury, who have been performing before live audiences since February of 2008, is fueled on stage by the spirit and energy that exudes from their fan following. Influenced heavily by the essence of music, no particular mainstream band or group, Cain's Fury is already in the production stages of recording an EP that is being produced by Way Barrier(of Destroy Destroy Destroy). Recorded in Jackson, MS, the studio EP has been engineered by Dean Barrier. The essence of the band certainly bleeds through on stand out singles which include, Something Seasonal, as well as the crowd favorite, Walk on Rubies. Though every track contains its own concept, which presents an array of originality, the band has become partial to Walk on Rubies. Playing as a signature track of sorts, for the band, Walk on Rubies represents the band's first, collective creation.
Having already shot a video for RAM Video Productions, as well as performing local shows, clubs and festival events, Cain's Fury wants to continue breaking the mold of traditional formats of songs by incorporating styles that otherwise seem avante garde, in comparison to much of the music that receives heavy rotation on mainstream stations across the country. As many young artists who are on the dawn of superstardom, Cains Fury is excited about recording an amazing, full fledged, studio LP, future touring to promote the album, and garnering new listeners and fans along the way.
