Supayniyux was originally formed in early '06 under the name of Devil Dam by two Ecuadorian brothers, who both arrived to Switzerland a few years prior. Having not the means to pay for musical equipment let alone for the space to practice, they played together at home with ampless acoustic guitars and drummed on empty cardboard boxes! It is through this adversity, that their dedication and passion stands.
After having struggled to find a rehearsing studio, the band then saught out a vocalist and bass player. They would soon find a growling compatriote and a local friend with latin roots to take up the bass. Supayniyux was now complete with its four engaged members.
The band's predominant musical influence remains that of early black metal, with its raw, brutal and evil riffs. We strive to build on what has already been done, hopefully bringing something new and valuable to the scene.
