A hardcore band formed in late 2006 by five Durham, North Carolina locals, Joe Grizzley is intent on bringing a positive and socially aware message about music, friends, family, and life to a scene contaminated by hair straighteners on one end and tough guy mentalities on the other. The original line up consisted of Alex Jeans, Bret Andrews, Bryan Creidler, Rylan Coglaiti, and Zack Smith. Zack parted ways with the band in early 2008 to pursue personal goals and live life, he and the band still remain the best of friends to this day. Bryan stepped up to take his place as vocalist and front man. Shortly after, Shane Ogilvie was brought in on guitar. This final line up gives you the hard hitting combination of an upbeat old school feel and new school brutality, all the while a catchy melody shining through the mix. With a relentless drive and a "do work son" attitude towards their music, not to mention the unforgettable stage presence of their live show, Joe Grizzley is taking North Carolina and beyond by storm.
