About Me

hey, tiger! is a three piece acoustic punk rock band from portland, OR. well, we might be a punk rock band. I like to think we are but we really love pop songs and have alot of love in us and the 2 make a deadly combination that we just can't stop! we are struggling with microphones. ya see, they scare us but we are trying to come to terms with the fact that sometimes we just don't sing loud enough. Walt started this whole thing started in alaska in 2001 by himself. Then he moved to south carolina and started playing with two friends. It didn't work out so well. He put it on the back burner for awhile until he fell in love love love with brianna and started wanting to play songs again. Today, the songs are a mix of the old stuff and new. we really like chocolate, coffee, and our cats and sunny sunny days. Sam is a sweet dude on permanant summer vacation...he took on the wieghty responsibility of cat toy and grabbin his glockenspiel and some dadadas and so much more when he manifested in portland last year. Captain Shirt has these amazing things oozing out of him and he has been playing with Hey, Tiger for a couple of months now.

yes, it's true! we will be coming home in early july! so be prepared for the new sounds. i hope to see all the mohawks boo us and the metalheads ask us to stop playing.....
