Mhamed Ressaissi is a professional painter born 17/11/1948 in Tunis. He used to work as a banker while he discovered his potentials for art. Mhamed has been an artist since the late 60ies in Carthage, Tunisia. His profession covers the old Tunisian traditions and his aim is to display bits and pieces of Tunisian history and to bring back memories from the good old days. Please take a few minutes and have a look at some of his paintings below. Mhamed Ressaissi had his 1st painting exposition in 1971 at the Tunisian lounge and he regularly exposes his paintings at the ministry of cultural affairs for both international and national events. Every year since 1985, in the month of August, Mhamed exposes his art at the the museum of Sidi Bou Said.
