Kill-Basa Bill's Roadshow

About Me

Between the good pickin' and the humor of our songs we hope everyone can find something they like. There is nothing Kill-Basa Bill's Roadshow loves more than entertaining a bunch of good folks. There has been an incarnation of this band for years now and everyone has been alot of fun. This rendition of the band have been together for 2 years but we have always picked together. We just decided to go legit with it. HOT Myspace Layouts

Band Members: Ok, let's start with the namesake, Kill-Basa Bill. Mr. William Guthrie, aka, Bill lives in Danbury, NC, is a licensed massage therapist, and plays a mean Doghouse Bass. He trained in classical violin as a child but lost the urge for it when his big brother took him to his first fiddlers convention and a bass player was born!{ By the way, he is a great vocalist, too.} He is a very laid back guy who never meets a stranger. He is a good friend and an all around good person, not to mention a lot of fun. Bill works at the Dandelion Soap Shop in Walkertown, NC. They have great goats milk soap and such and a specialty coffee shop, plus MASSAGE! He also has some of our CDs for sale there, a one stop shopping experience.Julian Lillard plays guitar and keeps the fun going in between songs with his jokes and good humor. He owns and operates an auto repair shop in Brosville, VA, no zip code. He is a great musician and has had his own syndicated tv show, where he and his band hosted and showcased many great bands. He also contributes greatly to the vocals of this band and it would not be the same without him. http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=rt1bluegrass Here are some videos from Rt.1 Bluegrass!!!Steve Fox, or Seve as we call him, is our banjo player, every band has to have one. Darn it! Steve has been into the bluegrass scene all the way back to Camp Springs, NC days. He is a very laid back guy who we could not do without. He contributes greatly to this band and is an asset to our vocals and distinctive sound. Steve owns and operates an auto repair shop and carwash in Wentworth, NC.Last but not least, Andy Williams, mandolin player and vocalist for this bunch. He is from Mocksville, NC and works for Dwiggins Metal Masters and a welder. Andy has been picking with these guys for a long time and enjoys every minute of it. He plays a good lick on the mandolin and has a great singing voice.KBBRS Live @ Floyd Fest
